| FROM THE PRESIDENT (cont'd) |
Page 3 |
 |
It is only fitting that the person to have the honor of caring for the elephants for the next year be the person who shipped them from Southeast Asia (Really, it was not fixed, it just happened that way), Al Cinko. Now you'll have to put another patch on that party suit!! Everybody, check them closely next year, Al will probably have them smoking before the year is through. |

| THE REUNION - FRIDAY NIGHT MIXER |
|
|
By Barry Gossman

The Friday Night Mixer kicked off promptly at six. There were a lot of old, (and I mean old) comrades in arms we haven't seen for many years. We were all happy to see Gunner Jack make his annual trip from Korea. Again he instilled his great wisdom upon us all.
The Spectre store was manned by Mike and crew selling Spectre memorabilia. Raffle tickets were sold for chances to win either a Gunship litho, booze basket or a bottle of wine disguised as a monkey. Thank you to all that participated, and congratulations to the winners. We did raise $865.00 which will go into the scholarship fund.
The food was fantastic. When they said heavy hors d'oeuvres they weren't kidding. The food kept coming and never stopped.
Pictures, of past reunion events, were being displayed on the screen. Thank you to Mike, the bartender, who did a great job. I think he was a contributing factor to the war stories that were flowing left and right. All in all I believe a good time was had by all.
